Digital and Information Technology Course Overview

Students develop skills in keyboarding, computer competency, software applications of Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, digital media and Internet safety. 
There will be opportunities in Year 10 to acquire standards in the Digital Technologies domain, Computing and Business Admin.

Students will follow a Course of Study that provides Achievement Standards from the Digital Technologies Domain and Unit standards from the Business and Computer Studies framework.  
They will work towards NCEA Level 1.

Students will follow a Course of Study that provides standards from the Digital Technologies Domain and standards from the Computer and Business Admin framework. 
They will work towards NCEA Level 2 and the National Certificate of Computing Level 2.

Students will follow a Course of Study that provides standards from the Computer and Business Admin framework. 
They will work towards NCEA Level 3 and the National Certificate of Computing Level 3.
