Enrolment Application Process

1. Eligibility

Our primary intake is Year 9, with spaces available in other years as vaccancies occur in both School & Hostel. Enrolments open in Term 3 of each year, however you are able to submit your application form between one and three years ahead of the year your daughter would expect to start.

Mid-year enrolments are assessed on a case by case basis.​​​​​​​

2. Application

Download and complete our Enrolment Application Pack.

The following documents are required alongside your application:

• Passport photo of the applicant (head and shoulders)
• Birth certificate or passport
• Copy of immunisation records (Your GP should be able to email this to you)
• Two most recent school reports
• Baptismal certificate

All completed applications can be emailed through to enrolments@sjmgc.school.nz

The Fee Structure outlines the expected costs each year. Please note that the fees are subject to change.

3. Enrolment Interview

Once we have received your completed application pack, we will invite your daughter to the College for an enrolment interview. Interviews are held with the Principal. The Hostel Manager or Head Whaea Atawhai will also attend interviews for boarding enrolments.

Interviews will take between 60 - 90 minutes and will include a tour of both School and Hostel grounds, Most of the questions during the interview will be directed to your daughter.

Interview times are arranged by the College and take pacce in Term 3.

4. Confirmation of Enrolment

Successful applications will receive a written offer of place at St Joseph's Māori Girls College. ​​​​​​​
